Who can benefit from the ISP Professional Training?
Integral Somatic Psychology™ is an advanced-level training for experienced clinicians who are engaged in psychological work with individuals or groups in therapeutic practice or teaching. The training is geared towards psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, addiction counselors, and professional counselors, but if you are a psychiatrist, art, movement or breath therapist, coach, bodyworker, energy worker, psychology trainer, educator, clergy, meditation or spiritual teacher, you will find the training valuable to your professional development.
Requirements if you catch up with ISP Module 1 by Video
Two additional requirements apply:
Prior to attending ISP Module 2, you would be required to attend one 3-hour practice group where you have the opportunity to participate in the 'therapist', 'client', and/or 'observer' role. These practice groups are often meeting online so people from various areas/countries can meet. Practice groups do not count toward ISP certification.
Prior to attending ISP Module 2, you would also need to have one personal session from an approved ISP provider where the provider names the four steps of the practice of embodying emotions. These personal sessions do count towards ISP certification.
